This is a draft template, not a finished legal document. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer and shouldn't be relied on as legal advice or a binding policy until it has.

This page explains how SaleSync approaches data protection for individuals in the European Union and European Economic Area (EU/EEA) under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

For personal data we collect through this website and the SaleSync platform, SaleSync acts as the data controller. You can reach us using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the basis of: performing our contract with you (operating your organisation's dashboard and website), our legitimate interests (such as securing the platform), and your consent where required.

3. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

4. International Data Transfers

SaleSync currently operates in the Australian and Thai markets, and data may be stored or processed in either region. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we aim to use appropriate safeguards required by GDPR.

5. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights above, email us at hello@salesync.biz. We'll respond within the timeframe required by law.

6. Complaints

If you believe we haven't handled your personal data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
